If you’re like me, then you may have spent your high school days reading (or devouring) Meg Cabot’s books by the boat load. In this boat, you’d find Cabot’s paranormal series: The Mediator and guess what? It was announced yesterday (by the author herself) that the concluded series will be getting an additional installment. The announcement was made on her Facebook page which was then passed around the Twitter vine with happy squealing from fans of the series.

I’m ecstatic but also wary since the series had such a satisfactory conclusion that this new addition could weaken it. BUT it is being written years later so it’s safe to assume that Cabot thinks there is a story to tell without the original hype’s pressures.
What do you guys think? Is an addition of a Book 7 to the much beloved series a good thing or will it ruin an already solid story?
My teenage self is doing cartwheels right now 🙂
